The Three day Futsal Seminar held at the new Futsal Ozstadium in Mt Evelyn was an amazing experience for all involved. It was a fantastic success.

We were fortunate to have the Spanish National Futsal Coach Venancio Lopez and Italian 1st Division Coach of Asti FC Tiago Polido at our disposal over the 3 day period. What can only be described as an eye opener, the two coaches went into detail regarding their own squads and their respective set ups, plays and formations. From planing the year out, right down to planing each hour, the information was an insight to what it takes to run a top level professional squad.

There was a theory session in the morning and went into practical work on court in the afternoon,  examples of defensive and attacking set ups with heaps of variations. Braving the cold conditions nothing was missed as both coaches put the selection of Nike V-League players through the drills, from set plays to games that require a player to think, use perception and make quick decision. It was personal and innovating to say the least.

Both Venancio & Tiago made themselves available for any questions that the 30 + audience had with no question being off limits.
Everyone who attended had the opportunity to rub shoulders with two of the best coaches in the world and without doubt appreciated the knowledge and saw a new side to Futsal coaching education for ever!

An amazing experience that can only be beneficial to all the coaches and managers that attended.
